These tasks are focused on linguistic competence in German and on the translation competence required when rendering German texts into Spanish, the leitmotiv of these activities being the expression of manner of motion. We aim to answer the following questions: How is manner of motion expressed in German? How is it translated? Which translation techniques do we observe in this linguistic transference? The main methodological feature of these tasks is that they include the practice with corpora. Being a ground-breaking tool with empirical nature, corpora have currently become very popular in Linguistic and Translation Studies. Yet occasionally students see them as complicated tools, mostly due to the great amount of information they provide. For this reason, in terms of design we introduce the task format of webquest, which seems especially well suited as an instrument to facilitate the introduction of corpus-based tasks in the foreign language and translation classroom, since one of the main aims of this task format is to give instructions for the exploitation and transformation of data available on the Web. Given the variety of linguistic resources that we find on the Web nowadays, this format seems suitable for the aims proposed. Finally, nowadays there are more and more resources on the Internet that promote the acquisition of linguistic and translation competence. In our contribution we suggest some useful tools that we have used in the design of the tasks. ; Nuestra propuesta consiste en la presentación de una serie de actividades diseñadas a partir de recursos de la Web 2.0 enfocadas al aprendizaje de alemán como lengua extranjera y a la práctica traductora en la combinación lingüística alemán–español. En concreto, el leitmotiv de las actividades es la expresión de la manera de movimiento, esto es, nos proponemos contestar a las siguientes preguntas: ¿cómo se expresa la manera de movimiento en la lengua alemana? ¿cómo se traduce? y ¿qué estrategias se dan en este proceso de transferencia lingüística? La principal particularidad metodológica de estas actividades es que incluyen la práctica con corpus. Los corpus son una herramienta revolucionaria que presentan una naturaleza empírica, por ello estas herramientas están en auge tanto en los estudios de Lingüística como en los estudios de Traducción. Sin embargo, debido a la gran cantidad de información que ofrecen, los estudiantes los consideran herramientas complejas. Por este motivo, con respecto al diseño de las actividades, éstas han sido estructuras en forma de webquest, un instrumento que parece muy apropiado para la introducción de actividades basadas en corpus en el contexto de lengua extranjera y traducción, ya que uno de los objetivos de este tipo de formato es servir de guía para el aprovechamiento y la transformación de información que está disponible en la red. Dada la variedad de recursos lingüísticos que encontramos actualmente en Internet, este formato nos parece idóneo para los objetivos propuestos. Finalmente, son cada vez más los recursos disponibles en la Web que facilitan la práctica y la adquisición de la competencia lingüística y traductora.
